He was predeceased by: his parents, Norwood Mallon and Virginia Mallon; and his sister Janice Blackburn. He is survived by: his wife Barb Mallon; his children, Allison and Mike McBride; his grandchildren, Carson, Chelsea, Jude Aden, Carter, Kenzie Aden, Connor Hubbard and Cambrie McBride; and his children, Brooke, Dave, Slater Elliston and Maggi Mallon. He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Slater Area Historical Association and/or Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
