It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Marie Weeks of Slater, Iowa, born in Cambridge, Iowa, who passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Twit and Javerna Twit (Birkestrand); and her husband Robert. She is survived by: her sons, Jerry (Darla) of Kelley, Jim (Terri) of Slater, Jon (Kim) of Slater, Jay (Amber) of Ankeny and Joel (Madeleine) of Iowa Falls; her grandchildren, Emily, Clinton, Erica of Curtis, B. J., Mandy, Drew, Wyatt, Brandon, Shelbi and Lily; and her siblings, Arnie Twit, Ken Twit of St. Petersburg, FL and Tania Cole of DeLand, FL.. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or the Slater Historical Society.
