It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cindy Lou Hanks of Slater, Iowa, born in Aurora, Missouri, who passed away on February 9, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Robert Brueggemann. She is survived by: her mother Nancy Brueggemann (Daniels) of Laurel; her husband David Hanks; her friend Pat; her children, Heather Hazen-Wilson (Mike) of Marshalltown and Jhett Hanks of Slater; her grandchildren, Austin Atcher (Tiffany), Ashley Atcher and Autumn Atcher; her great grandchildren, Tyler and Lainey Atcher; her parents-in-law, Dean and Beulah Hanks of Slater; and her siblings, David Brueggeman (Terri), Linda Emard (Joe) and Carol Pritchett (Roy).

Use of face masks will be required at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
