He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Vogel and Mary Vogel (Warner); his siblings, Robert, Christopher, Theresa and Jennifer; his daughter Theresa Gipper; his granddaughter Jessica Joyner; his great grandchild Kennedy Michael Ray Norland; his siblings-in-law, Isabella Vogel, Marcella Fitzner, Delores Bressman, Ron Mettenbrink and Marx Schutt; his son-in-law Tom Burrow; and his mother-in-law Gladys Smoot.
He is survived by: his former wife Betty Jo; his wife Judy Davis of Sioux Rapids, Iowa; his children, Brenda Dodge (Dan) of Sutherland, Iowa, Robert Vogel of Cleveland, Ohio, Raymond Vogel Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio, Tanya Spieker of Spencer, Iowa, Angela Leeper (Pat) of Burt, Iowa and Stephen Vogel (Sandra) of Cleveland, Ohio; and his siblings, John Vogel, Rolland Vogel, Jim Vogel (Cathy), Charley Vogel (Diane), Charlene Vogel, Judy Mettenbrink, Rosellen Vogel and Sue Schutt. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.
