He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Hollesen and Florence Hollesen (Wright); his wife Beverly Hollesen; his siblings, Dale Hollesen (Laura), Fern Bright (Elmer), Lilah Romine (Lyle), Marge Stone (Roy), Marlene Nelson and Kenny Hollesen (Mary); his grandson James Green III; and his friend Chad Perrigo.
He is survived by: his friend Dean; his significant other Beverly Jean Thomas; his children, Ben Hollesen, Sr. (Marilyn) of Spencer, Iowa and Deanna Johnson of Montgomery, Illinois; his grandchildren, James Green, Jami Green, Cassie Zumwalt (Don), Ben Hollesen, Jr. (Val) and Anne Marie Hagedorn (Matt); his great grandchildren, Tori, Calle Green, Aiden Green, Tanner Perrigo (Mikaela), Elizabeth, Grace, Mattie Hagedorn, Sawyer, Briann Hollesen, Haven and Oliver Zumwalt; and his great great grandchildren, Kingston Green and Jagger Perrigo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
