We bid farewell to Frederick Charles McKenzie of Sioux Rapids, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 30, 2024 at the age of 98. Frederick touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William McKenzie and Freda McKenzie (Wessar); his siblings, Les McKenzie, Bob Twigg (Alice) and Dorothy Clark (Chuck); his brother-in-law Louie Garman; and his son-in-law Hugh Cooper (Bettie).
He is survived by: his sister Freda Garman; and his children, Mike McKenzie (Becky), Scot McKenzie (Mary), Russ McKenzie (Tif), Barb Cooper and Kathy Geisinger (Oren). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren along with many other friends.
