He is survived by: his wife Carmen Klein; his children, Ashley Curtis (Jon Anderson), Amanda Dowdy and Alyssa Dowdy; his grandchildren, Kaiden, Kyleigh, Bryce, Aubree, Jayda Curtis, Kyson, Carlee Rexroat, Carter, Kyrie Vaughan, Micah Bolden, Heilani and Mahana Taumoepeau; his siblings, Darrell Lester (Dixie) of Sioux Rapids, Edward Dowdy (Jan) of Sioux Rapids, Glen Dowdy of Cherokee, Kevin Dowdy (Shawna) of Arlington, KY, Linda Hansen of Ocheyedan and Melissa Rhea of Kentucky; and his brother-in-law Bill Klein of Orange City. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
