She is survived by: her husband Ed Shugar; her sons, Brandon Dean of Cedar Rapids, IA and Tyler Dean (Samantha) of Sioux Rapids, IA; her siblings, Carol Dean of Port Richey, FL, Everett Dean of Ruthven, IA, Gerald Dean (Pam) of Marathon, IA and Bruce Dean of Gayville, SD; her grandchildren, Benjamin, Aiden, Chelsea and Juliet; and her great grandchild Arya Curtis.
