He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Samuelson and Ramona Samuelson (Johansen); and his brother Lyle. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Samuelson of Sioux City; his sons, Julius Samuelson (Tiffany) of Sioux City, Adam Samuelson (Kendra) of Clarinda and Seth Samuelson (Sarah) of New Hampton; his grandchildren, Zoey, Emma, Olivia, Henry and Caleb; his stepmother Sue Johnson; and his siblings, Wanda French (Steve), Vivian Verberg (Dennis), Lori Tomperi (Durwin), Robin Downer (Terry), Heide Teague and Lonnie Samuelson (Beth). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
