He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Engle and Elaine Engle (Polly); his nephew Bobby Engle; his siblings-in-law, Patti Engle and Craig Burris; and his parents-in-law, Wayne and Lucy Burris.

He is survived by: his spouse Kriss Burris; his daughters, Nicole Engle (Nate Bauer) and Natalie Engle (Jake Rus); his granddaughter Giada; his friend Kriss Engle; and his siblings, Steve Engle, Tim Engle (Jackie), Jeanne Johnson (Doug), Doug Engle (Syd) and Jacque Satter (Rich). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
