He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lucy, L. E. Harrison, Don and Etta Olson; and his nephew Daniel Norby.

He is survived by: his parents, Robert Woodson and Marie Woodson (Harrison); his sister Robbie Norby (David) of Sioux City; his nephew Christopher Norby of Maplewood, Minnesota; and his great-niece Marissa Norby of Sioux City.
