He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Gomez Olyao and Salud Moreno. He is survived by: his wife Silvia Calderon; and his children, Alicia Calderon (Jaime), Victor Calderon, Sergio Gomez (Marianita), Sandra Gomez (Oswald Berríos), Angel Gomez, Paula Gomez (Erving) and Javier Gomez. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel (3220 Stone Park Blvd, Sioux City, IA 51104). A prayer will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
