She was predeceased by: her parents, Juanita Beth (Hall) and Rev. Prince Henry Yates; her husband Clyde Francis Banta; and her sisters, Princetta Davis and Patsy Green.
She is survived by: her children, MaryBeth Banta, Clyde James Banta and Katherine Ann Banta; her grandson Jordan Banta-Clark; and her siblings, Jenny Roguemore and Richard Yates (Melodie).
