He is survived by: his children, Mary Kay Smid (Dennis) of Omaha, NE, James Gubbels (Cindy) of Reno, NV and Joseph Gubbels (Debbie) of Rosemount, MN; his great grandchild Margaret Korth Bloomquist; and his sister Margaret Korth Bloomquist. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
