He was predeceased by: his father Donald Kapfer. He is survived by: his mother Vera Kapfer (Bertrand) of Sioux City, Iowa; his siblings, Terry Kapfer of Sioux City, IA, Cindy Kapfer of Sioux City, IA, David Kapfer of Naples, FL and Lisa Heinen (Jay) of Yankton, SD; his nephew Ryland Balcom; and his niece Kaitlyn Balcom.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rexwinkel Funeral Home - Akron (601 Torbert Blvd, Akron, IA 51001). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
