It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marissa E. Cavazos of Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on July 21, 2024, at the age of 25, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Marissa may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marissa touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her grandmother Linda Burrell; her sister Justina Murguia; and her uncle Edgar Cavazos. She is survived by: her parents, Carmela "Carmen" Sanchez-Garcia and Victor Cavazos; her daughter Yoselin Cavazos; her significant other Daniel Marin; and her sisters, Sylvia Cavazos, Jisela Aguirre and Elsa Aguirre. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
