It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Moore of Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marvin and Janice Moore (Wallen); his siblings, Bob Moore (Gloria), Linda Foster (Tiny) and Sandy Dickman (Gary); and his brother-in-law George Leckband.

He is survived by: his wife Judy of Sioux City; his children, Ron Moore (Carol) of Sioux City, Don Moore (Suzy) of Lincoln City, OR, Rick Moore (Lori) of Sioux City and Jayne Hettinger (Jim) of Sioux City; his grandchildren, Nick Moore, Sam Moore (Tony Riedesel), Andy Moore (Sara), Ashley Kirkes (Grant), Simon Moore, Libby Moore, Ian Hettinger, Lexi Hettinger, Lucas Hettinger, Brandon Moore (Mariah) and Aubreyann Moore; his siblings, Betty Leckband, Jerry Moore (Rhonda), Kathy Moore, Penny Noble (John Treglia), Tim Iverson (Deb), Bob Iverson, Tom Moore (Cindy) and Jackie Iverson; and his brother-in-law Bill Bauerly. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, 3 ½ great great grandchildren.
