We bid farewell to Gene L. Willmott of Sioux City, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 15, 2024 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Willmott and Vera Willmott (Smith); his wife Joan D. Crowell of Rosalie, NE; his sister Phyllis (Duane Hagensick); and also Joan.

He is survived by: his children, Stacey Willmott of Jonesboro, AR and Scott (Shelley Sweeney) of Sioux City; his grandchildren, Jill Willmott (Tyler Hubert) of Salix, IA and Matt Willmott (Tara) of Harrison, AR; his great grandchildren, Ty, Reese and Sydnee Willmott; his nephew Greg Hagensick; and his cousin Don Smith.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Wayne State Foundation for the Gene and Joan Willmott Scholarship Fund.
