Elsie R. Plantz-Jester Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elsie R. Plantz-Jester of Sioux City, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2024 at the age of 103. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Welch and Cora Welch (Longworth); and her husband John Plantz Sr.. She is survived by: her daughter Charlotte Curry; her son-in-law Jim Lorimor; her grandchildren, Cynthia Thomas, Michael Curry (Karen), Jeffrey Curry (Pam), Patrick Curry, April Brown (Ace) and Grady Redding; her children, John Edward Plantz Jr. and June Redding Lorimor; her son-in-law Donald Curry; and her grandsons, Douglas and Raymond Redding. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel (3220 Stone Park Blvd, Sioux City, IA 51104). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
