He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herbst and Irene Herbst (McHone); and his brother Clifford John Herbst. He is survived by: his children, Karin Ramirez of Sioux City, Iowa, Paul Herbst of Sioux City, Iowa and Stacey Webb of Sioux City, Iowa. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel (6200 Morningside Ave, Sioux City, IA 51106). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
