He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Alatorre and Doris Alatorre (Ewald). He is survived by: his wife Pam Evans of Sioux City; his daughters, Tiffany Beavers and Stacia Delfs (Jake) of Sioux City; his grandchildren, Karlee (Jesse), Shalyn (Dayton), Shane Jr. (Emma), Brady, Colton (Kaylee), Kinley, Hannah, Madilynn and Milo; his daughters, Shayna and Shyanne Beavers; and his siblings, Terry Evans (Andrea), John Savage, Pam Hubert, Debra Clark (Jim), Carla Rose, Simon Alatorre and James Alatorre.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel (3220 Stone Park Blvd, Sioux City, IA 51104). A vigil service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (3012 Jackson St, Sioux City, IA 51104).
