She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Johns and Ernestine Johns (Hagerdon); and her sister Nalene Paul. She is survived by: her husband Duane Conkey; and her children, Charisse Klein (Don), Joel Conkey (Debbie Sachau) and Scott Conkey (Wendy Baker).
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Southern Hills Baptist Church (4301 Old Lakeport Rd, Sioux City, IA 51106). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Southern Hills Baptist Church Missions Fund.
