She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Phillip and Inez Irene Anderson; her father-in-law Lee Sweitzer; her siblings-in-law, Randy Sweitzer and Kristine Sweitzer; and also Charlie Zook.
She is survived by: her husband Rick Lee Sweitzer; her children, Jason Sweitzer (Emily) of Sioux City, IA, Jeremy Sweitzer (Alison) of Omaha, NE, Justin Sweitzer of Sioux City, IA and Jodi Sweitzer of Sioux City, IA; her sisters, Leona McInerney (Craig) of Elk Point, SD and Barbara Kavanaugh (Kevin) of Sioux Falls, SD; her siblings-in-law, Marc Sweitzer (Maryern Einck), Bruce Zook of Sioux City, IA and Sheila Martinez (Tony) of Irving, TX; her mother-in-law Mary Zook of Sioux City, IA; and her grandchildren, Olivia, Keaton, Payton, Bennett, Paxton, Piper and Parker. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Foundation for Inclusive Religious Education (FIRE Foundation) of NW Iowa or Care Initiatives Hospice – Sioux City.
