He is survived by: his former spouse Kris Edlund; his son Sgt. Bluff; his mother Mary Jane Shanahan of Sioux City; his siblings, Steven Bumsted (Adalgisa), Mark Bumsted (Diane) of Oto, Scott Bumsted (Tracy) of Santa Clarita, Calif. and Marcy Peterson (Erik) of Sioux City; his stepmother Jean Bumsted of Mapleton; his stepsiblings, Jodi Kerns (David) of Anthon, Iowa and Jeff Savary (Charity); and his close friends, Robin Niday, Mike Manthorne, Al Mast and Karen Graham. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
