He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert E. Rude and Emma Rude (Nieman); his wife Marilou (Gaes); and his brothers, Bryon Rude (Margaret) and Duane Rude (Jean).
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane May of Ferndale, WA and Robin Redmond of Winston, OR; his granddaughter Lauren Schramer (Jack) of Bellingham, WA; his great grandchildren, Wyatt and Owen; and his sister-in-law Margaret Rude of Pocahontas, IA..
