She was predeceased by: her parents, Dona Comeau and Evaline Robbins Comeau; her son Robert Jr.; her former husband James Earl Smith Sr.; her husband John Strickland; her daughter Evelyne; and her siblings, Vincent, Vinton and Vivian.
She is survived by: her former husband Robert Eugene Madsen; and her children, Christopher, Larry and Dorra Lynn. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
