She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lloyd Schonrock and Betty Schonrock (Ouelette); her daughter Heather Schonrock (Jeremy Cale); her boyfriend Christopher Sorensen; and her sisters, Cheryl Schonrock and Ruth Schonrock. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City (4125 Orleans Ave, Sioux City, IA 51106). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (6605 Morningside Ave, Sioux City, IA 51106).
