He was predeceased by: his mother Theresa Andersen; his parents-in-law, Oliver and Joyce Eggerud; his brother Keith; and his brothers-in-law, Bob and Bruce.
He is survived by: his father Donald Andersen; his wife Jolaine K. Eggerud; his sons, Christopher (Leah) of Jefferson, SD., Robert of Sioux City and Richard (Megan) of Dakota Dunes, SD.; his grandchildren, Kylie (Jordan), Baylie (Thomas), Gavin, Presley, Avery and Charlie; his great grandchildren, Camden and Dawson; his brother Ron (Patti) of Sioux City; and his brother-in-law Jay Eggerud (Mindy Andersen) of Jasper, MN.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Morningside Lutheran Church (700 S Martha St, Sioux City, IA 51106). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
