It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn M. Peterson of Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on March 24, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pasquale Alvano and Mary Alvano (Tierno); her husband Louis D. Peterson; her daughter-in-law Cindy Combs; and her siblings, Joe, Mike and Rose.

She is survived by: her sons, Robert Peterson of Sioux City and Duane Peterson of Conrad, IA; her grandson Travis Peterson of Gladbrook, IA; and her sister Antonette Jianuzzi of Long Beach, CA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
