He is survived by: his children, Tracy Howard (John) of Ancestor, SD and Ricci (Mary Ellen) of Sioux City, IA; his stepchildren, Mardell Obermiller (Rodney) of Council Bluffs and Rodney Hoffman of Hudson, SD; and his siblings, Don Nelson of Fremont, NE and Betty Patton (Don) of Oceanside, WA.. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel (6200 Morningside Ave, Sioux City, IA 51106). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (6605 Morningside Ave, Sioux City, IA 51106).
