With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Byron E. Dawdy of Sioux City, Iowa, born in Mapleton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 5, 2024 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Dawdy and Geneive "Jenny" Dawdy (Lloyd); his brother Donald Eugene; his grandparents, Lloyd, Velira Dawdy, James and Nettie Lloyd; his aunts and uncles, Shine, Sharon, Jim, Gail Lloyd, Inez, John Mead, Selma, Freeman Bonnes, Barb Dawdy, Beth, Don Jessen, Ginny and Ronnie Uhl; his brother-in-law James Ruhland; and his cousins, Michael Dawdy, Neal Lloyd and James Mead.
He is survived by: his sister Pamela Ruhland of Sioux City; and his uncle Edward Dawdy of Sioux City.
