Alice (Kott) Sailors Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2025, Alice (Kott) Sailors (Sioux City, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Alice farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Alice is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Kott and Agnes Kott (Budkabich); her sister Olga Stratton; her niece Kathy Stratton; and her siblings, Helen Keller and Joe Kott.
She is survived by: her nieces, Susie Thomas and Dana Roberts; and her friend Betty VanWyk.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Thomas Orthodox Church (1100 Jones St, Sioux City, IA 51105). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at the Memorial Park Cemetery (6605 Morningside Ave, Sioux City, IA 51106).
