She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Roskam and Sophia Roskam (Rozeboom); and her siblings, Dick Roskam (Tillie), Henrietta Van Hill (Tony), Gertrude Kuiper (John), Gertie Dumond, Gerrit Roskam (Emma), Elizabeth VanderWeide (John), Tony Roskam, Leonard Roskam and Cornie Roskam (Muriel).
She is survived by: her husband John Zomer; her children, Henry (Roxy) of Conrad, MT, Connie Hoogendoorn (Gywen) of Bradenton, FL, John (Stacy) of Valley Springs, SD, Lorinda "Sue" Techen (Randy) of Sheldon, IA, Dale (Myra) of Harrisburg, SD, Kathy Van Beek (Doug) of Inwood, IA, Calvin (Amber) of Rock Valley, IA and Jolene VanderWaal (Walt) of Orange City, IA; her sister Hilda Van Voorst (Jake); and her sisters-in-law, Harriet Roskam and Bea Roskam-Nydam. She is also survived by 39 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She donated many pies to the NRC Dorcas Society bake sale.
