She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Boeyink and Agnes Boeyink (Muilenburg); her husband Donald P. Colon; and her siblings, Gary Boeyink, Gladys Bruinsma, Jacob Boeyink, Esther Bleeker, Leona Russell (Lee) and Joyce Moeller.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul Colon (Jean) of Sioux Falls, SD and Philip Colon (Stephanie) of Urbandale, IA; her granddaughter Megan (Christopher Paone) of Tampa, Florida; her sons, Adam of Sioux Falls and Maren Colon (Kyle Gallagher) of Washington, DC; her great grandchildren, Amelia and Benjamin Paone; her sister Donna Kwikkel of Rock Rapids, IA; and her brother-in-law Arnold Kwikkel. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Sioux Center Hospital Foundation or the Sioux Center Public Library.
