He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Switzer and Edna Switzer (Bode); his sister Marilyn; and his brother-in-law Gene Hockom. He is survived by: his wife Sonja Switzer (Jacobsen); his daughters, Kim Herr (Phil) of Syracuse, IN and Keri Pape (Kirk) of Marquette, IA.; his grandchildren, Haley Brown (Eric), Maclain Herr of Syracuse, IN, Josh Franzen (Britlyn) of Fayette, IA, Jordan Franzen of Cedar Falls, IA and Jerod Franzen (Madison) of Eldorado, IA.; his great grandchildren, Goldie, Drew Brown, Kelby, Braylee, Avery and Liam Franzen; his parents-in-law, Roger, Mary Klopp and Janet Hoegh; his siblings-in-law, Warren, Gudrun Jacobsen, Emery, Isabel Hoegh and Leon Hoegh; and his close friends, Snigdha Peddireddy, Virinchi Peddireddy of Hyderabad and India. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
