She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Yates and Rose Yates (Lindenman); her son Jay; her husband Don; her grandson Daryl Richmond; and her brother Lyle Yates.
She is survived by: her former husband Robert Richmond; her sons, Kelvin Richmond (Shaowei) of Reno and Robert Richmond (Eunice) of Sioux Falls; and her sisters, Charlene Janssen (Kenneth) of Hawarden and Rosalie Block of Spirit Lake, Iowa.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
