We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2023, at the age of 90, Magdalene Doorenbos of Sioux Center, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Alons and Elizabeth Alons (Uittenbogaard); her former husband Rudy; her son Jeff Meyer; her siblings, Arthur Alons (Rosella), Daniel Alons (Henrietta) and Mary Van Buren (Arie); her daughter-in-law Elaine Meyer; and her stepson Gary Vos.
She is survived by: her husband Harlin Doorenbos; her children, Larry Meyer of Oakdale, Linda Wissink (Roger) of Orange City, Eve Swanson of Iowa City and Suzette Vonk (Bruce) of Sioux Center; her stepchildren, Wanda Vos, Kevin Doorenbos and Illadene Renken (Randy); her brother Bernard Alons (Cindy) of Denton, TX; and also Sheila Meyer of Sioux Center. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
