She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Wilt (Tony) and Grace Vander Wilt (Roetman, family: Middleburg); her son Veryl De Gooyer; her great grandchild Isabella Chadwick; her sister Sophia; her brother-in-law Ed De Jongh; her brother John; her sister-in-law Yetty Vander Wilt; her parents-in-law, Donald and Dean De Gooyer; and her siblings-in-law, Millard De Gooyer and Charlene De Gooyer.
She is survived by: her former husband Donald De Gooyer Jr. (Don); her children, Doug, Cheri and Kari; her granddaughter Becky (Andy Riskedahl); her great grandchild Josey; her children, Ryan and Amanda Hulstein of Sioux Center; her grandchildren, Ruby, Cohen, Garrett, Thea Katie and Evan Freemyer of Omaha; her great grandchildren, Abraham, Maebel, Winifred, Alpheus, Opal Hannah and Matt Smolders of Sioux Center; and also, Bo, Levi, Zeke, Naomi Maggie of PapillonKari, Marlin Van Klompenburg of Maurice, Austin of Maurice Michaela, Brady Chadwick of Kingsley, Charlotte, JoelSister, Maureen De Gooyer and Jim De Gooyer. She is also survived by her children, their spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Life Church (232 16th St SE, Sioux Center, IA 51250). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 8:45 AM to 9:00 AM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
