He was predeceased by: his parents, Marinus Intveld and Jennie "Louise" Intveld (Vermeer); and his siblings, Elizabeth Boeve (Case), Margaret Boeve (Donald), Cynthia Boeve (Albert), Thelma Menning (Arnold) and James Intveld (Gert).
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Mae Den Herder; his children, Sue Siemonsma (Mark) of Rock Valley, IA, Terry Intveld (Stacy) of Iowa City, IA and Janet Saar (Jeff) of Omaha, NE; and his grandchildren, Eric Siemonsma (Kristin) of Moreno Valley, CA, Lindsay Rose (Wes) of Graettinger, IA, Brock Intveld of North Liberty, IA, Jamie Reiter of North Liberty, IA, Peyton Saar of Omaha, NE and Parker Saar of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by Seven great grandchildren.
