It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Huygens of Sioux Center, Iowa, born in Hospers, Iowa, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Huygens and Jennie Huygens (Brink); his sister Betty Mouw (Roger Mouw); and his siblings-in-law, Delbert, Josephine Dittman, Harold Klein, Marie Luke, Elenor Jungers, Benny Watts, Wayne and Geraldine Hardin.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Blake and Alivia; his wife Margie Huygens of Sioux Center; his children, Robin Ortega (Jose) of Orlando, FL, Jami Sue Huygens of Galveston, TX and Shane Huygens (Margaret) of Orlando, FL.; his grandchildren, Bianca Ortega of West Hollywood, CA, Shamar Peters Huygens of Orlando, FL and Jaden Huygens of Orlando, FL.; his brother Jimmie Huygens (Bonnie); his siblings-in-law, Paul, Bernice Schwebach, John Luke, Charlotte Watts, Teresa and Larry Gathman; and also, Dave, Shawna Ymker, Blake and Alivia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
