He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Armstrong and Gladys Armstrong (Christiansen). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Norkus; his grandchildren, TJ and Henley; his children, Tyler Armstrong (Tiffany) of Sioux Center, IA and Kelsy Armstrong of Richmond, VA; his grandchild Henly; and his sister Deb Jessen (Lloyd).

In lieu of flowers memorial may be directed to the Christ The King Building Project.
