With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harrietta J. Niemeyer of Sioux Center, Iowa, born in Hull, Iowa, who passed away on December 27, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Zoet and Kathryn Zoet (De Zeeuw); and her sister Janith Schultz. She is survived by: her daughter Paula (Mike Steffes) of Granville; her grandchildren, Jarod (Madison) and Emily; her children, Joel and Pam Niemeyer of Zearing; her grandchildren, Brandyn (Jenna), Bryce (McKenna), McKenzie, Colton and Jadyn; her children, Kim and Jeff Hoogendoorn of Rock Rapids; her grandson Ethan; her children, Michael and Katie Niemeyer of Clear Lake; her grandchildren, Haley and Andrew; her great grandchild Marlow; and her siblings, Phil (Karen Zoet) of Hull, Lisa (Mark Van Der Brink) and Lori (Steve Reintsma). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be given to the Ronald McDonald House in Rochester, Minnesota, and Mid-Sioux Opportunity.
