He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hoef and Hattie Vande Hoef (Hup); and his wife Nellie Vande Hoef. He is survived by: his sisters, Judy Groeneweg of Rock Valley, IA and Gertrude Den Boer of Rock Valley, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Tillie Blom of Rock Valley, IA and Jennie Blom of Corsica, SD. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
The Vande Hoef family prefers memorials be directed to the Netherlands Reformed Christian School of Rock Valley, IA or Regency Retirement Residence of Sioux Center, IA.
