He was predeceased by: his wife Emma; his son-in-law Randy Van Schepen; his parents, Anthony Roskam and Sophie Roskam; and his siblings, Dick Roskam (Tillie), Henrietta Van Hill (Tunis), Gertrude Kuiper (John), Gertie Dumond, Liz Vander Weide (John), Tony Roskam, Len Roskam and Cornie Roskam.
He is survived by: his children, Arlene Van Schepen of Hull, IA, Ronald Roskam (Julie) of North Liberty, IA, David Roskam (Dot) of Sioux Center, IA, Jeffrey Roskam (Patty) of Wichita, KS, Gloria Kruid (Gary) of Sioux Center, IA, Alvin Roskam (Kim) of Wasilla, AK, Darlene Aberson (Will) of Orange City, IA and Donna Van Roekel (Hector); his sisters, Sophie Zomer (John) of Sioux Center, IA and Hilda Van Voorst (Jake) of Lester, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Bea Roskam of Ankeny, IA and Harriet Roskam of Canton, SD. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren.
