He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Vonk and Jennie Vonk (Katze); his former wife Henrietta Van Voorst; his children-in-law, Ken Faber and Cindy Vonk; his granddaughter Teri Juzek; and his siblings, Hank, Ben, Jeanette Feekes, Gerrit, Gert Vande Berg, Pete and Goldie De Jager.
He is survived by: his wife Christina Vonk; his children, Bennie Vonk (Kathleen) of Ireton, IA, Jan Faber of Sioux Center, Sharon Boeyink (Jim) of Sioux Center, Larry Vonk of Maurice, IA, Glenn Vonk of Sioux Falls, SD, Bonnie Fedders (Roger) of Ireton, IA and Bruce Vonk (Sue) of Sioux Center; his stepchildren, Phil Weerheim (Trudi) of Ripon, CA and Cheryl Hulstein (Dave) of Rock Rapids, IA; his siblings, Eugene Vonk (Judy) of Sioux Center, Kathy Vande Kieft of Orange City and Dorothy Van Bochove (Andy) of Sun City, AZ; and his brother-in-law Elmer Vande Berg of Sioux Center. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 4 great- great grandchildren.
We will be following the social distancing and mask requirements.
In lieu of flowers family wish memorials which will be directed to Royale Meadows Care Center or the Heritage Reformed Church of Hull, IA.
