It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Gertrude of Sioux Center, Iowa, who passed away on August 22, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Herder and Rena Den Herder (Wissink); her husband Gerrit Leusink; her children, Irene Ouellet and Dennis Leusink; her grandsons, Jeff Ouellet and Dustin Dorenkamp; and her sister Gertrude Leusink.
She is survived by: her children, Helen Dorenkamp (David) of Milford, IA, Claire Leusink (Ruth) of Ripon, CA, Thelma Madagan (Dean) of Spirit Lake, IA, Arlin Leusink (Joyce) of Sioux Center, IA, Marvin Leusink (Laura) of Escalon, CA and Joyce Zubrod (Kevin) of Sutherland, IA; her children-in-law, Ron Ouellet of Monte Sereno, CA and Cheri Leusink of Rock Valley, IA; her sister Arlene Wynia of Luverne, MN; and her sister-in-law Jeanette Leusink of Hull, IA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
The Leusink family prefer memorials be directed to the Lakes Regional Healthcare Hospice and/or First Reformed Church of Sioux Center.
