She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Vermeer and Kate Vermeer (Roos); her husband Floyd Achterhof; her children, Marsha Kay, Michael and Patricia; and her siblings, Edward, Andrew, Ellen and Geneva.
She is survived by: her son Rick Achterhof (Paula) of Orange City, IA; and her sister-in-law Charlotte Vermeer of Orange City, IA. She is also survived by grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
