He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Beek and Wilhelmina Van Beek (Schoep); and his brother Rallyn Van Beek. He is survived by: his wife Karen Van Beek; his brothers, Virgil (Donna) and Lloyd Van Beek (Rosie); his sister-in-law Caroline Van Beek; and his children, Bryan Van Beek (Brenda), Leanne Altena (Brad), Pamela Kruse (Dan) and Wendell Van Beek (Molly). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the Van Beek family prefers memorials be directed to Northwestern College.
