She was predeceased by: her parents, Alden Walraven and Catherine Walraven (Peters); her husband Irwin Richard Vermeer; her sister Caroline Douma (Ken); her daughter-in-law Dawn Vermeer; and her great grandchild Elise Faith Mouw (Vermeer).
She is survived by: her children, Evan and Nancy Vermeer of Sioux Center.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Centerpoint Church (160 10th St SE, Sioux Center, IA 51250). A prayer was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
