She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry C. Roekel and Allie Van Roekel (Vander Ploeg); and her siblings, Neal Van Roekel (Dena), Fannie Van Roekel, Garret Van Roekel (Jo), Tena Sneller (Henry), Carrie Franken (Gerrit), Tony Van Roekel (Grace), John Van Roekel (Aldine), Henry Van Roekel (Alice), Fannie Sneller (Ed), Cynthia Van Regenmorter (Henry), Harriet and Al G. Meendering. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations are preferred to the Sioux Center Community Hospital and/or First Reformed Church of Sioux Center.
